  • Silverlink Park - Pond?

I don't go freshwater fishing, but since I'm on the Cobalt Business Park I've been wandering the little nature park of a lunchtime, noticed the bigger pond had someone fishing it a few weeks back and there was certainly something feeding there today as I passed - anyone know what species are in there out of interest?

I live just round the corner and walk through quite regularly, don't know if it's been "officially" stocked. Looks like a nice place to fish though. Could always pop into the Village hotel for a bite to eat & a pint as well. There were rumors years ago that the Rising Sun pond had some decent fish in. It's a nature reserve so I guess it would be frowned on.

Can see it from my office window, guy's been fishing it a couple of times that I've noticed. I'm assuming the fish feeding the other day was a carp, got the impression it was a fair size fish from the amount of water it displaced.
