had morning session cloudy, warm slight breeze, perfect! hour later nowt. tried various things nothing doing. changed to a size 16 dawsons olive and had 12 best 4ib 12oz. other anglers had some fish on the large dawsons lure but nothing else would work. large stocking going in tomorrow.

Well done on your catch Gordon, size 16 Dawson's, where's the mega magnifying glass!!.
Thinking about having a trip up there in the next week or so, it appears as if it is fishing reasonabley well.

great report mate fancy starting fly fishing my self but got no gear can you pick starter kits up or have you got to buy it seperate ie rod then reel,line ect.
