Turned up at Sharpley this morning about 0830 and thats all I did, once again anglers were trudging around the lakes trying to get the odd offer but very little was being caught.
Tried all the tactics form top to bottom, tiny buzzers down to gigantic zonkers, floating lines down to hi'ds, all in all, me and my two mates fished for six hours, Sheppie and myself never had one single offer, Ronnie captured one fish and that was his lot for the day. Other anglers were having the same sort of luck so it was not as if we were doing something wrong
Whether the lakes had been bombarded over the weekend or it was just one of those days who knows, not to worry, still plenty of rest days left to have another bash.
