Just recieved this from the SACN.
Something fly fishermen may like to have a look at.
Something fly fishermen may like to have a look at.
To all SACN Members,
SACN member Keith Passant is mad enough to organise a 24 hour fly-tying marathon for charity.
The cause is Casting for Recovery, a charity which aims to help women whose lives have been affected by breast cancer onto the road to recovery by introducing them to fly-fishing. (see Casting for Recovery - Home ).
As well as achieving their aim of enhancing the lives of women who have been visited by this devastating disease, and setting them on the road to recovery, such initiatives bring the positive aspects of angling into the public eye and so as anglers Keith's efforts deserve the support of us all.
Details of the fly-tying marathon and raffle (check out the prizes!) are on another website at NWFFC Fly-Tying Marathon in aid of Casting for Recovery
Please sponsor Keith, and perhaps buy some raffle tickets as well (you can donate via paypal, or send Keith a cheque - details on the website )
Oh! and please get your friends and relatives to do the same :-)
Spread the Word.
Regards, Leon Roskilly
