Foxpond fishery

Well with my order of guides delayed being a bank holiday I decided to nip along to foxpond 1st 3 casts and I had 2 nice fish out of about 5/6 lbs on a hares ears great result no blank then I steadily landed a few more fish with another 1 of about 6.5 lbs then the heavens opened up and it went dead followed by the fog quick cup of coffee and a mars bar lol I decided to have a sit down and throw a few lines the yellow dancer just broke the surface of the water then bang this fish hits me like a steam train a good 10 mins later got it to the net with some help thanks bruce and chris the fish weighed in at 17.5 lbs beating my pb of 17lbs ended the day with 17 trout 17 being the magic number
