Had a waft about with my new Salmon Tamer over grass today - smashed it as it happens - didn't tape the joints. No-one said I had to but I read the magazines and frequent the odd forum and know I should 'a. Hopefully one of our fantastic local tackle dealers (Almost certainly the one I bought it off) will see me right, failing that the manufacturer, failing that I let loose the dogs of war (Me Mam)
I seemed to be putting a nice line out at times as well
I thought I'll pace out the distance (I do not know how long my line is, it's got a 65ft something somewhere and turns blue halfway down - but 
) and strode towards where my bit of ribbon stuff was landing to count it back and noticed 2 things
1. I had been very consistent in where I was placing my "fly"
2. It was on top of or around the only pile of dog **** on the whole field
