    Henda,

Hello mate re the Derwent and the fish. It has loads of lttle brownies Between Shotley Bridge and Allansford. Derwentside angling asscociation have the fishing rights You can get a day pass for £6 from the post office at Shotley,Allansford picnic site or AMH angling in Annfield plain.
Personally i think The resevoir fishing is easier and more productive.

I,m told there is also Grayling in the Derwent river but dates vary as to what type of bait and method of fishing is allowed.

It costs about £50 to be a full member and is really good value, however i am disappointed over ther size and quality of the fish.(they are also bloody hard to catch). I have been told it is stocked about three times a year. Generally before competitions.

The actual river boundaries for DAA are from Shotley bridge to Lintzford.

I stand to be corrected if my information is incorrect.

    Cheers Mick.
Personal best, 12.5lb Tope Scotland. 22/05/2012.
