  • Derwentside.

Guess who volunteered to work at Consett today. As part of policing the area it is vital that local isolated parking areas are patrolled. So i went up for a drive to the Derwent resevoir. I was in a marked Nissan Nirvana 4x4. Looks the bees knees. Popped in to say hello to the guys at the resevoir. Someone on the heaviest fish caught chart had a nine pound trout. That must have been some fish.

think I must of passed you, I'm just up the road from the derwent and pass it daily, was thinking "what's the feds doing out here??, Northumberland water must be really enforcing their catch and release policies!!"

better be careful in one or 2 of those car parks out here though, doggin city in the summer!

that said, I guess some of those involved will be catching a lot more with their flies if your car pulls in!!

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.
