Ok this was my first ever trip out fluffchucking so I wasn't expecting much.

I decided to take friday off to give it a shot and went up there with a mate of mine.

Paid £10 for 4 hours to keep two fish and then release the rest.
We went halfs on a boat which was £5 for 4 hours so it cost me £12.50 all in.
Not a bad price I think.

Anyway had a couple of practice casts on the shore and then onto the boat.
The place itself is fantastic and the peace and tranquility were just what I needed after a naff week at work.

I was using a floating line cos that's all I had with a 10ft leader and a big fluffy green thing on the end.
There was a bit of a wind but every time it dropped the fish came on!!!

I managed to get meself 2 rainbows around the 2lb mark as did my mate!!!

Don't ask me what i caught them on all I know was it was black and green!!

Gonna go up and give it another shot today as i really enjoyed myself.

Then it's back to the beaches next week with some juicy fresh crab for the Bass!!!

Would recommend this place to anyone although I aint been elsewhere, but I liked it.

    Cheers

Good luck on your next venture and tight lines.

100% the wrong way round M8

Ive blanked on quite a few occasions but it makes the next catch that much sweeter.
