I decided to visit the North Of England Fly Fishing Show yesterday, so when I finished work at 12 I drove home and told my partner Julie where I was off to.
She seemed quite interested so I suggested that she came along.
Now I've done some stupid things over the years but suggesting she came along must be up there with the best of them!
I decided to leave after about 20 minutes, around about the time she said "what are you going back to that stand for, you've only looked at it a few minutes ago!"
I realise that it may not have had the same appeal as being carted through every shop in the metro centre, or enduring the physical and mental "chinese water torture" that is Asda on a Friday evening but hey, each to their own eh!
Still what I saw of the show looked very good I'm looking forward to going next year..... alone probably!
