It can only be due to the outrageous member formerly known as "mark" or something else to do with the smell of Flannels. Flannels is what Flannels are. They could be used to wipe the business of a criminlas bottom or dab gently at the face of a perspiring angel of the NHS.
Or if used as roofing material on a cheese house, they soak up the rain and wick it down inner walls of the real structure which is obviously only clad in cheese (I watch Grand Designs as well)
