hardcore hury

Fished hury today arived at 7 set 2 rods up floater and slow inter,
Wind 15mph overcast,
First 3 casts on inter 3 pulls no hook ups,then wind sung round and fish dissapeared
2hrs nothing then wind swang back round floating line mudler top dropper killer on point and hook up finally nice rainbow around 2lb smashed the muddler,
Continued with floater muddler and killer combo several more hook ups to both killer and muddler,wind got stronger then rain came switched to inter muddler on dropper nice daddy on point several pulls no hook ups very nervous takes,
Rain got worse wind got stronger but fish came back on the feed stayed with muddler on dropper and hopper on point on inter, some nice pulls on muddler just as it sank nice hard fighting fish all around 2lb mark,
Went dead for an hr or so then found them again this time on floater again on muddler katey muddler on dropper bibbio muddler on point this resulted in my best fish of the day a rainbow arond the 6lb mark smashed the katey,led me a merry dance for 10 minutes,just about to net it he had other ideas i sweear he winked at me spat the muddler out and went on his way,was gutted lol,
The weather at this point had really closed in was fishing in 20 mph wind and rain blowing straight at us decided enough was enough and called it a day at 5,30 aroun a dozen or so landed very hard work today,
Despite the weather still a good session certainly hard core fishing.
Only 2 people fished hury today me and my mate we must be mad.
