Brilliant party political last night and was particularly impressed by the notion that they will pass British coastal laws and reinstall the internationally recognised 12 mile limit around British shores excluding all foreign fishing boats from within that boundary. Other reforms will be to legislate on net types and mesh size to allow young fish to survive into adulthood.

The whole broadcast was inspiring but that sprang out at me.

I am convinced more and more that years of empty rhetoric have left our seas and our shore angling experiences in poor state... it would be nice to vote in a government that actually makes a difference.

What did anyone else make of it?

And what was their manifesto to sort the mess out that the country is in?
A pointless political party with an idiot at the helm. Fair enough, Farage goes fishing and sees a few votes coming his way from the anglers. Don't be sucked in by his rhetoric and BS. He's an idiot.

Their policies on other matters seem no less reasonable than that which we have in rip off Britain at the moment so time to give another party a chance maybe. Leaving Europe would throw many shackles off in terms of self-governance and border issues too.

However time will tell but an awful lot of thinking folk I know are giving them their backing this time so it will make for an interesting vote coming up.

Maybe the best of a bad bunch ?
Look at the yanks, a few days ago, scum bombed boston, already 1 is dead and the other being hunted like the dog he is. Do you think they would have all these human rights lot marching in the streets, would there goverment have to ask to have known terrorists kicked out of country ?
We need a party with some stones about them, a one that will tell all these yogurt knitters
just how its going to be. Bloody namby pamby state.
