I campaign about the amount of sewage being dumped into the sea at St Peters (River Wear) and Whitburn where if you go to the King & Queenie Bay you can see it is having a great effect on the marine life. When I was a lad we played there catching shore crabs from what was called dogger rock there were 1000s, now there are almost none. I recently photographed the debris and sent it to the authorities, they came back, as you may have seen in the Echo and the Gazette claiming it is fly tipping - what a joke. There used to be a chap who lived at Hendon he constantly complained about the sewage there but it appears to have stopped. For this reason, can I ask for help from any angler who fishes at Hendon to tell me - is sewage still being seen there or do you know of anywhere else ?
