6 of us out on Unity today from Seahouses. Fishing was fairly slow - as seems to have been the pattern. Spoke to some divers who said the water temp was 7.4 degrees C - 1 degree colder than this time last year!! The end result was around 30 fish between 2 - 5lb with most being towards the lower end. There were countless undersized fish caught. I had 6 fish with 3 kept for the table. Hokais with bluey and prawn did the damage today. A few fish were taken on shads with the lighter colours seeming to fish best. The water was still a bit mucky up to about 3 mile out. Most the fish came from close in reefs in around 10 fa of water. All in all, not a bad start to the season. Sorry no pics as still havent looked how to do it on here!

Well done been out with Matty the skipper before on Unity - the trip sticks in his head because we had to come in with thunder and lightening. His boat was crackling.
