The fishing has certainly come on for the boats in whitby this weekend.
Everyone is reporting steady fishing again.
We fished for 4 days on the hop saturday through till tuesday taking steady catches each day taking fish into double figures on both bait and shad.
Monday we caught the most but tuesday saw the biggest fish of the year so far landed on Mistress - a belting 26lb Ling, caught by graham thomspson from manchester using a whole squid on one of our daiwa hire outfits provided by dawia as part of our sponsorship earlier this year.
The summer fishing is only just around the corner now, and i for one cant wait to be bashing the cod with shads and light gear
