after sitting in the house all week bored decided to try and get out for a few hours early sat morning
met up with ian 7.15 at the surf hut

wasn't looking like it was going to be a easy launch and with a few surfers turning up it might be fun
so we stowed the rods away and headed out timeing it perfect and got over the last breaker as it broke under the yak
after paddling to the wreck , baited hokeyes was the chosen weapon of choice today
slow going after about a hour had a nice cod 3 1/4 pound

then the dorado twins arrived tim and pete

    ian into a small cod

then just before we headed in a pouting

just the surf landing to get right on the way in
nailed it so two species and a great morning out with great company thanks jeff

Looks like good stuff mate! How far out are the wrecks u kayak lads do? Was thinking about getting one myself as I live 5mins walk from throw rocks, looked at on my navionics app and seems like groups of wrecks bout 1.5-2.5mile out

Plenty wrecks up to 2 mile out that we can fish with the right weather conditions
with plenty rough ground marks close to shore aswell
you dont have to go out more than a few hundred yards to get into the fish around our coastline

Nice one Jeff enjoyed the morning before the wind picked up as forecast. Think Dave could be right about your fish

Excellent I'd love a kayak but there's a few other boys toys ahead in the pecking order, how far do you guys usually head out ?

Hi Steve if you like your fishing it's the best boys toy believe me wish I had done it years ago.
Distance can vary but normally up to 2 and a bit miles off
                        Just add water!
