  • Seaham. What a surprise.

    Me and Allan down the boat by 8:30. Chris had been out early and not had a bite. Left the marina with the Jesters words ringing in our ears, "You've only got four and a half pounds to beat". Allan could smell the glory, all he needed was a whitey of 4lb 9ozs to take biggest fish.
    We anchored just north of the piers and struggled for a bite, even if the fish are not biting they show on the fishfinder but today it was very sparse.
    After another move and to cut along story short we ended up with 8 whities between us also Allan got two canny pouting.



    I got a sizeable Dab.



    And the Surprise......

            No big fish but plenty of variety. I’ve never even seen a doggy taken from the boats round here.

                Shame the coddies didn't show for you mate always next time i suppose there has been quite a few doggys come from Seaham area lately nice to see well done
