Off out early ish this morning as I am chocka the rest of this weekend. I thought I would venture out on to the easterly wrecks to see if they have kicked into action yet. Unfortunately there were a few fish on one up to about 3lb and none on the other. The fish that came up were coloured and not fresh run so likely been there a while.
I headed down to Creswell Skeers along with about a dozen other boats, they were mainly on the Southern skeer. There were bait fish on the sounder and breaking the surface but no mackerel yet. I picked away with a few more fish to shads then back up to the Marina.
I finished early today as I am running the Edinburgh Marathon tomorrow so thought I better not exhaust myself.
