Aye Jeff, theres a good stamp of whitey to be had, some of them feel like codlings when you pull them in

I managed to get a couple of codling out but only to 2.5lb and kept one nice whitey, lost count of the whities that i put back, but great fun to have 2 rods bouncing away and not nowing which one to grab...

I got the lug from the tackle shop in Horden, and to be fair it was excellent quality, i got 2 lug and 2 packs of frozen dirty squid and it came to £15.00,
its been a couple of years since i've bought any so i'm probably out of touch with prices....
              Is the price about right.....

Sounds a bit expensive to me Chris the dirty squid is about £2 odd a box, but lug varies in price for better quality worms, so you'll have to judge them.
Well, i;ve been telling yous lot for years to chuck an anchor out, loose a lot less gear, you can fish two rods and still pour the coffee out and snaffle a sarnie, all whilst sitting on yer arse with the sun making the whole world sorta..............nice

Arthur i like philosophy of fishing at anchor

It did seem a bit expensive but it was worth it to get out fishing.....and...errr...i forgot my flask...

Nice one Chris. There’s something to recommend this anchoring approach.
