Well that was a much better day arrived at newbiggin at 9.45am a lad in a yak was already there the water was like glass when i left the marina but by the time i got to newbiggin it was a bit choppy and the yak didnt seem to stay long i was straight into fish only thing was they were no bigger than 2 n a half pounds i lost a couple right up decent fish too i put 2 tommys back i kept 5 codling and 3 bonus doggies the water is still dirty though so it was an anchor job i would of still been out but ran out of bait it made a big change not having every wave smashing over the top of ya boat too i had a visit off the jfk 2 for a while but allan went further off to do some wrecks tight lines

Thanks, another good report with some canny fish. Same as dt1 I've never caught a doggy from the yak but caught plenty rock fishing up Scotland, never kept them to eat as I couldn't be bothered to skin them. Just think, If everyone in the Marina was as keen as you there would be no place to fish there would be boats all over.

Yep, as I sit here drooling over the report on me works computer, my boat one of them that's sat in the marina, waiting for the first weekend weather window, week in, week out.

Yay ! Saturday looks good. Boo ! Saturday is the The Big One at St James when Falcons take on Sale, and I got a group of mates together for it. Just hoping Sunday isn't too bad.

Thanks for the reports. It helps remind me what I'm missing
