Its a bit lumpy today

Well i was down the marina this morning and i thought it wasnt to windy so had a qiick brekkie and flew home to get some bait and prawns onve i got outside the piers it was very windy indeed but i wasnt heading back in once i was out so i decided to hang around the can area the drift was very fast so i dropped the drogue ehich helped a lot it also steaded the boat quite a bit i got fish almost straight away i ended up losing 2 putting 2 back and kept 3 one was 2lb one was 3na half lb and the biggest was a tad over 4lb so from what was a terrible day the fishing was really good i omly went out for 4hrs oh by the way the water clarity was excellent so the bait is going back in the freezer tight lines

Well done on the impromptu session , looks nasty but fish are there , nearly went off early in the yak but changed my mind when I saw the changing forecast .

Yeh it was pretty rough but the fish are there its just picking the right time to get out

Not long now Steve and the weather will pick up and the fishing with it. I saw a (your?) boat by the can on Saturday and thought rather them than me as the wind knocked the tops off the swell. You’re keen on getting out and see the rewards for it. Well done and keep the reports coming.

Aye well done getting out. The sea was certainly lumpy off South Shields. So much so the waves were so high there was no way you could have launched from the beach. That was even the case in Shields harbour. Forecast for settling a bit later in the week though...hopefully!
