Fri n sat out on the boat

Well the weather was dying down yesterday so me n daz headed out of the marina at 7.30 am we only went to the can sea was scuffy so we dropped the anchor and tried our luck with some nice big smelly baits first drop n i get a nice fat 2n a half pound codling champion i thought but 2n a half hours later no more fish so we decided to up anchor n fush cliser on the drift but still use the big smelly baits there were loads of fish on the screen but nit many feeding the ones we did catch were fat as but we had a good go n headed home at 4pm ish we ended up with 1 hag fish 1 coley a nice fat whiting n 5 codling all returned i was supposed to go out this morning but i was hanging so slept in i left the marina at about 12pm headed back to the can never got a bite well only one caught this nice octopuss but my heart wasnt really in it today so headed home at 3.30pm at least i got out so thats a bonus tight lines

Octopus

Out ov the tyne meny a moon ago me and fellow angler handled an octopus we neva caught a single fish each all day after that.
