  • 16lb cod

We left Hartlepool today with 6 anglers on board and after the last couple of trips out with the average fish being between 4 and 6lb, with quite a few smaller fish being caught which lived to fight another day. I was to say the least not to optimistic, but the lads were keen enough and although there wasn't a massive amount of fish being caught there was enough to keep them happy. They were rewarded with a nice 16lb cod biggest of the day, so all in all it turned out alright. The smile said it all,as the last time out the angler was laid on the bunk all day shall we say not feeling to well.
