  • The Glorious 19th

With the weather set to be another hot one I coudn't resist heading back down on the hunt for cod.

    On arrival everything looked perfect.

Like last time, I used the flooding tide to drift south where I was quickly into my first cod

Then, with one keeping fresh in net, another one came along

After a change of lure things carried on until I had four.

Things seem to go quiet, so it was then that I decided to hit a secluded beach and gut my fish out of the gaze of the inevitable families that
would be enjoying the beach I had launched from.

However, as I returned to the water the tide had changed and things started to pick up again

This brought another three cod to be bagged alongside my four filleted specimens

Fabulous, a good day was had by all.

Except maybe for the cod lol.

Aye good on ya Rocky. Know this, the sea is a big place and there is always room for another kayak fisherman.
