  • Cods - Wallop

With weather and sea forcasting a good day I headed off down to roker for an impromptu couple of hours. When I arrived all looked just as I hoped.
I headed out of the harbour and turned south off the headlands at Hendon with the intent of drifting back on the ebbing tide.

Very quickly I was into my first cod.
    [IMG][/IMG]
Although not so big it was a decent little fish that would fit the plate well.

Then within minutes another came along, and another and another.
    [IMG][/IMG]
Then a little tommy even had the gall to take my twintail, despite it only being twice the lures length.

Pretty soon they were lining up, and I had four good fish on board. Sorry its blurred.

At the end of my little session I had eight good fish.

Best of all, it was a cracking day on the water.

    Fabulous!

Aye ya not wrong there Russ. Thing is, had the old wooden trailer for some 30 years. Sentimentally it still does the job, even if it does look crap lol
