The first trip off of the season as an electrical problem stopped last weeks foray.
I headed off at about ten and the first three hours were spent plotting old marks on the new plotter. That was it as I did not get a sniff of a fish until the tide began ebbing properly.
I found a couple of spots with fish on and ended up with ten codling, keeping five before heading in for the school run. All of the fish were on shads as I had left the bait in the freezer. All being well of again tomorrow and friday.
I have got to squeeze a few sessions in as the youngest has got his tonsils coming out next week and I am running/wabbling/truffle shuffling my way around the Edinburgh Marathon the Sunday after.
Pretty happy with the new boat so far.
Tight Lines.
Graham.
