  • short trip sunday

Couldn't resist putting all the gear back in the boat and unwrapping her from her hibernation on Sunday after a quick check down at the sea front.
Sea as flat as a whiches t#t, sun bleaching down, warm, you get the picture straight out to the first wreck................not a thing, onto the next one, a scotchy

followed by a coupe more, and that was it

Nothing showing on the sounder, so headed inshore to drift bait fishing, but with hardly any tide at all in the time I was out, nothing at all inshore.
Oh well, like Ray said, it was a beautiful day to be afloat.

I reckon that's me properly finished till next season now as I can't see it getting any better till then.

Just like the last cast, it’s hard resisting having one last go. The conditions look perfect in your photo’s Arthur, too good an opportunity to miss.

I’ll see you out there again next season.

Yeh Chris, she's just cleared her throat

Well done Pete, you did better than me. Great day for the yak

Yes Kev1n, most people saying it's poor now, but can't help wanting to try.

I checked the transducer Rob, and found the Aero chocky bar still had the wrapper on.

That trip makes it just that little bit less time to wait till next season Arthur
I can't believe this season is over already , it hardly feels like it got started , I'm hoping for a day or two more like that through the next few months before the spring run hopefully arrives , I don't care what I catch , I just hope I manage to get out there a few times , it's a long time to sit and do nothing
Here's hoping for a mild winter and an early spring run
