  • North Star welcomes the trekkie

Had a party of 5 senior anglers today, who were joined by a few younger people. We left the dock at 7.45 and decided to go east. We had flat calm sea and sun shine. Arrived on the ground and they hit into ling straight away, so everyone was happy except for one person who shall remain nameless. Sure Duncan can guess anyway. We then started to pick up some nice cod and that was pretty much the way it stayed for a few hours. The eldest person on the boat, aged 73, caught the biggest ling and cod, so well done to her for showing the lads the way. The rain started to come down and when I walked out of the wheelhouse, I was greeted by one of Robs fantasies, complete with suit. Just wish he was there to appreciate it but one day...
