Fished out of Whitby yesterday with Jim on the charisma, left harbour at about 7 and were into fish straight away! We stopped off at the bell just outside the piers along side the sea otter and shy torque to pick up some Mackrall, we filled a bucket for bait and there was some real crackers amongst them many of them being bigger than the ones I have had up here, so we moved a bit further off onto the rough ground to find some cod and ling and from the start we had them aboard they were all good sized and they came aboard all day, we did not try many wrecks because there was too much drift to hit them really, all in all good day plenty fish and topped up the freezer, biggest fish of the day 9.5 ling Nearley got stuck out till late as the bridge broke and we could not get under it due to tide to get into the harbour so we were dropped ouside of the harbour what meant a longer walk past the tourists stinking of fish!
