Out of the Tyne with 10 anglers on board headed south and straight to the wrecks, weather was good and sea was smooth allowing Alan to put us right on target. Fish from the off hitting into Cod around 3 - 5lb Onboard we had a group down from Scotland who were more used to hard ground so were equipped with light tackle using mussel and lugworm, and they were straight into the fish, amongst them was a young girl all of 12 year old...but she fished like a pro, hitting into some nice size cod up to around 6lb along with some 4 - 5 lb ling. The day continued like this then the wrecks gave up some bigger catches up to Cod of 12 lb and ling of 11lb and 13lb all in all a great day, Catch of the day was a solitary Turbot........... Great day enjoyed by all. Roll on the next outing.
