First Boat Trip

well cracking weather today so decided to launch lazy daze around dinnertime more aless a trial run ...not ever used to reversing any type of trailer eventually we got her down the ramp to the waters edge ..we stayed close in about 500 yards just off the high drum anchored off ,,first drop produced a wrasse 2nd drop again another wrasse took on mussle and fresh crab ...stu followed by a big pouting ...things went quiet for a while till i brought im the first codling of our first outing about 2.5lb -3lb ...stu later hit a wrasse and another pouting ....the scores stood at 3-3 then a bullhead decided to take my lug n rag bait to claim me winner of the day 4-3 the wind changed and brought a bit chop on and swell so we headed in ... enjoyed every minute of it even though there wasnt much aboard .. will do it again soon

On the first trip a hazard free day is all you can ask for fish even better so nice one

funniest thing happened ... stu had recent had a nice mackerel bait on the drop before ..he dumped that for rag on the next drop ...the codling i pulled in coughed up hes piece of mackerel he dumped over the side
