Just a quick report from a new member.

Launched from Cullercoats last sat morning with my dad on his boat with a nice flat sea and some serious fog (silly thing to do but we convinced ourselves it would be fine). Once on the water headed to our favourite inshore mark and within minutes of our first drift my dada started to catch. He had 5 in total all about 3 to 4 lb tried another drift in same area and had nowt so moved to another inshore mark where my dad again started to catch and had another 4 2 of which were nice size 1x just under 10lb and 1x just under 9lb. Then tried a few more drifts in the same area and picked up another 4 cod all around 3 - 4 lb. Total cod for the day 13.

Decided to head back home (all i can say is thank god for mordern technology as we had a few grandad pants moments as visiblity was down to approx 10 ft) NOT GOOD!!!!

Also went out on sunday but waited to see if fog would lift as did not want to make same mistake twice lol. Once out on the water tried favourite marks again with success as throughout the full day we had a total of 15 cod ranging from 3 - 4 lb with 3 cod about 5lb. all in all a very good day.
