well after a few little trips out this year with not much happening went out on me fav boat today with flux davey 1970 and me pops set off at 8 to an amazing day the weather was great its march ??? headed north to the first wreck and bang straight into fish nice little cod on the 2 lb mark then bang flux into a 5.6 lber i thought yet again is it march only thing missing is the sea rats (i have a feeling they will be early this year ) then over the other side a lad brings in a lovely 8 lber then i bring in a 5 7 lb happy days caught on prawns with daylights they seem to do the trick then it died with the tide so we headed off out to a few mo
re wrecks there was no drift at all we were going at 0.2 knots got a cracking tan tho all that were coming in was pouting hey better than nowt then a few cod started to appear near low tide over the other side of the boat tho so we headed back to the first wreck and there we go straight into the coddies (barney the skipper is class gentleman and knows his stuff ima the best there is ) still the prawn on daylights are working davey 1970 gets his first fish nice codling then i hook into me pig 9 lber lokked a double all day but had no belly then a few more come in oh and me pops nearly got the sweep with his specimen rock yes he caught a rock thought he had a good fish on he said it was biting all in all a fantastic day weather was great skipper was as always tremendous ( trust me barney is a class skipper ) and the fishing was crackingClick image for larger version
