  • not a bad day

a few month ago a lad off this site marc(juliogeordio) put a thread on asking if any small boat owners had any space sometime would they mind if he could go out with them.i sent him a pm saying he could go out with me'so we met up 8am this morning at friars goose.it was the first time i had met this lad and what a cracking lad he is.anyway back to the fishing we headed up to the can area'fishing was slow at first then marc hooked into a good fish.it went quiet for a while then marc hooked into another good fish bigger than his fish and must of been in double figures we did not have any scales so could not weigh it.we ended up with 5 keepers for the day.here are some photos of the fish.

Haha, sweet and sour prawns next time! Bit fried rice, happy days

Brother popped around for those fillets, he was well happy. Cheers!

Well done on the fish, definitely a case of quality over quantity. And, nice one for taking someone new out, we all had to start somewhere.

Aye Keith, it was a very nice offer and a good trip out! Unfortunatly Walter already has a first mate otherwise I might have tried to stowaway on board haha.

Aye Keith , I remember years ago everyone invited lots of members out on their boats ( me as well ) . made a lot of good mates and comps were common , not much of that now .
