This morning I ventured back to Roker in a quest to enjoy a few hours on the water where I could find shelter from the westerly wind that was forcast. When I first arrived things looked pretty calm.
But once outside the harbour the breeze felt quite strong, however the sea only had a little bit of a chop on, so I was good to go.
Pretty soon, in amongst the inevitable Mackerel I was rewarded with two nice cod.
One of them a decent 4 pounder, and the other a PB of 81/2lb
Well chuffed!
