more of a no catch report
a few weeks ago skipper jeff bumped his headand started saying things like "we need to have a "jolly" out some decent day" ill invite a few regulars
what will the selection criteria be sez i(cos i like to know these things) we will chose people with a sense of humour, intelligence and good looks sez he
some considerable time later we conceded that the boat would be rather empty
how about? sez me getting people that we know can fish the lads that will always put a few fish on the boat on the hardest of days(neccessary evils i call em
and so it came to pass that we left port about 9am this morning, with a squad as thick and as ugly as you would ever be likely to meet.
cresswell was the destination, stopping at a few marks on the way down there,
the water was filthy, and the puffing and huffing of the wind made for fast drift and lots of lost tackle
a drop in the huffing and puffing of the wind tempted us to go out to the cresswell wreck,a few drift over this produced only 1 pouting
we headed norf, towards home making a couple of non productive stops on the way.
back in port around 2pm nowt to wash off the boat, hopefully thats it tied up till next april
A MERRY XMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
