The day started off well all the lads turned up on time so kettle on and off we go ddecided to go east so we headed of to the 12 mile mark we stopped of for the mackeral on the way then off again with by this time the party where getting to know each other judging by the banter well i think thats what it was. We arrived on the ground first drop the oldest of the party at 81yrs pulled in a nice 14lb ling and then they all started pulling in ling mostly around the 6lb mark but we had 3 or 4 double figure ling not a lot of cod though they seemed pretty scarce today but we did manage to find some along with some big whiting all i all it was a very enjoyable day.
