we set off from moorings this morning for a good days fishing we started the mackeral hunt just off piers we were soon pulling them in three at a time we were going to go to yellow can at st mary,s but every thing went dark then the rain came we were soaking within minutes we decided tob rave it out for a couple of hours in search for cod we tried the hard ground picking a couple up then the lightning came thats when we decided enough was enough so we hit one wreck on way in my mate john was rewarded with a nice cod ov 8lb was crapping myself every time lightning cracked so we called it a day got a load ov mackeral to fillet in morningand few codling i dont like lightning ?

We were safely back at the marina by the time the heavens really opened...at one point the Tyne marked a distinct border with the really dark clouds sitting over S/Shields and SunderlandOoh a new vid!

well done on getting out,
this is my last weekend at work before i break up for me jollies......
