Catch report "Grace" 02/08/2011

I finished work early so I decided to have a quick session on the local wrecks. I knew the drift would be quick with a 5m+ tide running but despite that the first three drifts produced three decent Cod up to 6lb. The wind freshened just slightly and made the drift even quicker so after losing a couple of pirks I changed to a shad and started picking up Pollock from just above the wreck. As the drift slowed down I reverted to the pirk and picked up a few more Cod but at slack water the fishing went completely off so I called it a day and headed home with 14 decent fish.
