Famous Hartlepool 26/07/11

Got out today but conditions were poor due to the swell and wind. A couple of mixed bags of codling, ling and whiting between 3 - 6lbs approx, mainly taken on shads and baited muppets. Water started to clear about 10 miles out.
At least i have another blank out the way. Good boat, crew and company though. Would strongly recommend anyone wanting a trip from Hartlepool to give The Famous a try 1st.

best to get them out the way when the conditions are poor, you don't want to balnk on a lovely calm day when everyone else is pulling fish in.

Yes the north wind was against us,the water was dirty,but the crack was good,you will have to try and get another trip out when things improve hopefully the next few days should get better,nice to see after all these years

The last two days the fishing has picked up cod to 14lb ling to 21 lb
