Me and the big fella had an early start today, 8.00 
, thought we would give the close in wrecks a miss and headed out around the 10 mile mark. There was some canny troughs with a westerly breeze, bit uncomfortable but as the wind was due to drop we plugged away taking a few ling from the first wreck.
The wind dropped so we decided to seek out some new wrecks, so headed south for a change...
The fishing went flat around 12.00, at this point we had around 8 decent fish biggest around 8lb, so started heading back in, another 2 wrecks and 1 fish picked up.
Last wreck and it gave up a nice 11 lb cod to me..my 2nd double this year,
A great day to be at sea, the weather was as good as it gets, red hot ...
Total fish kept 10 cod, 3 ling and a lot of 2-3 lb codling returned safely..
