It's not all about catching fish i reckon , nice to get a few , but the crack usually makes the trip that bit better..

I had the fortune of also being on the boat and as Al said it was a cracking day. I was on a species hunt and managed to get 6 different species, cod, poor cod, pouting, ballan wrasse, coal fish & mackerel. I kept 7 cod in the 3 to 4lb range and returned quite a few. Biggest cod was 8lb 1onz to a visiting London angler, there was also a ling of about 6ib but no pollack. I think the final count for the 11 anglers was 122 cod with many upto 5lb returned. David was his usual cheerful self and kept us on the fish all day, whilst his choice of music, Live & Dangerous by Thin Lizzy, was much appreciated.

            Cheers
