We seen the window in the weather again and the sea was dropping off nicely so myself Jim and Keith slipped the moorings just before 7am on Sat morning out the piers and a right turn for a bit ground fishing at anchor.
It was slow at first with the odd nibble to keep us interested , as soon as the tide turned (nearly home time ) the nibbles increased and kept us on ower toes for 45 mins or so, we ended up with 14 cod keepers up to just shy of 5lb and few Jocks and Chikinz
Great morning as usual with some nice Bovril to keep us warm back on the moorings before 12
Shady is getting lifted out next week for some much needed TLC ready for the spring run ........cant wait
