A very spontanious trip out tonight. I managed to sneek out of work early at 5.30 and the wind looked like it dropped as Nissans turbines looked fairly slow.

I gave my dad ring,he said he fancied it. Even the missus said she would have a run out.

So by 6pm we were a mile outside Sunderland pier for a few hours.

Nothing for the first 40 mins then the tiger fish started juming in the boat. My first of the season.

My dad changed his gear and put a big shiney pirk on.
He sat there never said a word then shouted....get the net...get the net..
He landed a monster cod about a 9lb

Back in the house for 9 clock
Very please we caught the first makky of the season but the "winning fish" goes to me dad. he's a lucky bugger.
