  • A very good days fishing-Craster.

Well lads we went out with Douggie today out of Craster. This was the sight which met me as i pulled up in my motor--magic or what.

    Heres my first one.

And Martin a fairly new angler catching Cod
    .
Ian (the shadman) hammering Codling in the corner with his shads (he lost over 12 shads).

My bucket is filling up (yes i know its pink).

A better one caught on Shads.
    (i lost about 8 shads).
And 18lb of fillets-neighbours have done well today.

An enjoyable days fishing and thanks to Douggie on Bon Ami.
By the end of the day it was a real rockabilly ride as The sea got up.
Biggest fish was about 5lb caught by Colin one of the lads and won him the sweep money.
    Tight lines Mick.

While you were pulling up your first cod, I'd already dealt with three accidents on the A19. Hope the sea was massive ....... Well dun. Gutted

Aye ian Les caught it next to me. It was the only one i saw and was used as bait. I did notice the gulls diving in different spots so there must have been sprats about.
Norman i am next out on the 4th July in the Police regional boat championships from Hartlepool. I,m on Lady Elsie. We have two teams of four in the compo.
I,m then onto nights but there is no way i,m missing a day out on Lady Elsie.
My target is to hit a doubler. I,ve been trying now for the last four years since i got back to fishing.
Going to buy some sidewinders-----the white ones did,nt half do some damage.
                Mick.
