No pics today due to leaving the camera at home but with the sun out and no wind at all, i joined my ma and dad on leave and had a few hrs out fishing. We headed straight for St Marrys, first drop i hit a codling of 3lb on a pirk so thought this is going to be good but that was it after over an hour between us.

So with slack tide on its way i headed to a 6mile wreck..what a good call.....it was like mackerel fishing, coalie and codling 1-2-3 at a time until the tide started again, we had 40mins of manic fishing that resulted in 17 keeper codling upto 4lb, 7 chucked back and around 25 coalie.

Both me, my mam and dad all had fish and better still the boat was spot on and back in action..away now on holiday so look forward to the catch reports when i get back.

There are loads of fish on the hard ground at Cresswell , but the wrecks seem devoid of fish up here , I'm always amazed at the difference a few miles up or down the coast seems to make .
I'm glad your boat is sorted Rich , enjoy your hols
