With a decent forecast and clear water three of us tried our luck on the wrecks, first stop at 1.5 mile, plenty of fish showing but no takers. Pushed out to our regular wreck at 6 mile and managed a few cod between us. I decided to try a new wreck a further 2 mile off and it paid off as we all hit fish straight away with cod around 10lb. tried a few more but ended the day back on the this one and ended up fairly even with about twenty cod and ling. I never weighed any but my guess was cod to 12lb and ling the same oh and I caught a mackerel. The pic is mine and my brother in laws catch , my mate had another eight of similar size. A very nice warm day and enjoyable fishing.
