Well after hard day on Sat i changed my directing and plan of attack, set off at 6am to a fantastic flat sea and bright sun well on its way up.
We started by hitting the mackerel for bait and joined Shady and Slinky over a inshore wreck but never stayed long with 4 boats over it but still managed a couple of hook ups with 3lb codling for the pot.
So we moved around hitting 11 wrecks plucking the odd cod and ling upto 6lb along with the odd coalie and whiting. So not a bad day but not an easy day fishing wise, thngs must start to improve when that water clears.
As the wind got up so did the sea, so with being 9 mile out (could not get to fav wrecks ) we started making our way back in.
But one last stop, just off souter in the hope of a few more cod and yes we did get 4 hook ups and landed 2 around the 4-5lb mark along with loads of mackerel then we headed back home with a just full fish box but nothing over 6lb.
