suday morning started early,as i awoke, and arose from my slumbers at 0300,with a severe dose of P F E (pre fishing excitement) for those not in the "know"
this would be my first trip out after having been detained at "her majestys pleasure" for 7 nights
news of the previous weekends excellent catches by jim(and many others) were fresh in my lugs as i headed down past seaham on the a19.for those that know it theres a lovely down hill drop in the road there,SO rockin all over the world i was as i passed there, thinking will it be the same today then thinking this car is vibrating a bit more than the norm, a quick look at the speedo supplied the answer 100 mph hold on dunc jim wont go without you
the fishing--we sailed at 7am a few short but jim went never the less
its a canny haul to the mark so we tried a wreck on the way doon--nowt then onwards to the mark, surrounded by boats aplenty hoping for a repeat of the previous weekend
alas no vast numbers of fish but more than a decent day i had a ling under 10lb a decent haddock, some large whiting/mackarel and half doz cod 4lb mark all others fared similarly.
on the way back we tried the first wreck(which was now the last wreck)--similar story nowt.
back in port about 4pm, bit of suntan-- fish to take home--happy days---roll on next sunday--its DUSTY BIN and his squad
